Data
Backup and recovery
Data backup and recovery, though a
very simple concept is surprisingly something that most companies
are not doing. The number of new clients we find that are
NOT backing up their crucial or critical data is phenomenal.
Our Network Engineers will recommend and implement the backup
and recovery solution that will best fit your needs. Finding
out that data cannot be restored until it is too late is a
terrible thing.
Automated Backup Services
Along with our traditional backup systems and technologies,
we now also provide the option of backing up your crucial
data online and remotely.
Our remote backup solution protects data from hardware failures,
errors, and unforeseen disasters by storing backup and archive
copies in secure off-site electronic vaults. Scaling to protect
thousands of computers running more than a dozen operating
systems, ranging from laptops to mainframes all connected
together via the internet. Our solution and TSM’s centralized
Web-based management, (intelligent-data-move and store techniques)
and comprehensive policy-based automation all work together
to minimize administration costs and the impact to both computers
and networks.
Our remote Backup services
X-Press DR (X-Press Disaster Recovery) is a solution that
will provide fully automated recovery of your business critical
servers, PCs and laptops. An operating system can be restored
from our secured servers to the existing or a replacement
server in less than one hour.
XDR performs regular backups to secured servers of the Windows
folder and registry and other files required to recover the
operating system in the event of its loss or corruption. It
is also necessary to store details of the computer’s hard
disk or RAID system and other configuration information and
these are held either on a floppy disk or on a network share.
This information would only alter if the server hardware were
changed.
Is your backup secure?
We are continually updating
its operations, utilizing current technology to secure your
data. Our servers – your electronic vaults – are located in
one of the most secure and technically advanced locations
available in North America.
We have implemented top-of-the-line firewalls and anti-virus
products to protect your backed up data. Further more, we
use encryption and password negotiation methods so only
the person with the correct user name, password and encryption
key is able to restore the data. Even our Systems Engineers
cannot access your backed up data.
